Description:

3D sensing technology, especially the high precision mid-range 3D sensing solution is a core technology for a variety of emerging applications. Especially for smart city, smart ports, surveillance and industry. Co-working with 5G technology, 3D sensing technology can upgrade our living society to be more intelligent. To develop next-generation high precision mid-range 3D sensing technology for varieties of emerging applications, such as Security & surveillance, Smart city sensing, Smart port, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and other industry applications. The proposed methodology will develop Time-Sensing Waveform Digitizing (TSWFD) technology, combined with advanced optical design and signal processing technologies, and 3D measurement algorithm to develop mid-range 3D sensing module, which generates high-precision point cloud.
